What is Hoods?

Edited

A Hood is a specific geographic area where you have established a strong service presence. By delivering consistent, high-quality service, you earn "neighborhood preference," allowing you to dominate local markets through word-of-mouth and route density.

Benefits of Managing a Hood

  • Priority Access: You receive the "first right of refusal" for all new service requests within your Hood. This gives you the opportunity to claim jobs before they are broadcast to the wider network.

  • Increased Route Density: By claiming multiple jobs in a concentrated area, you reduce travel time and fuel costs, significantly increasing your hourly profitability.

  • Customer Directing: When new customers in your Hood sign up for lawn mowing, our system prioritizes your profile based on your established presence in that neighborhood.

How Job Prioritization Works

To maintain the highest level of efficiency for our Pros, the platform uses a proximity-based logic for job distribution:

Priority Rule: New available jobs are automatically prioritized for Service Pros who already have multiple active jobs within a specific mileage radius.

This system ensures that Pros with existing routes in an area can easily add "neighboring" jobs to their schedule, further optimizing their workday.
