How Do I Confirm My AutoPlow Route Each Storm?

Edited

To ensure your AutoPlow route is properly assigned to you, LawnGuru requires all providers to confirm their availability before each snow event. This process, known as Roll Call, helps us ensure all customers receive timely service.

How it works

You will receive a Roll Call text message from +1 (855) 517-0845 when it starts snowing or the evening before a predicted storm. This message includes important details, such as the estimated start time of the snow event.

  1. Receive the text: We recommend saving our number in your contacts to ensure you don't miss these alerts.

  2. Reply to confirm: Simply reply "Confirm" to the text message to claim your route for the upcoming storm.

  3. Receive a confirmation receipt: You will get an automated response confirming your route is locked in. If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact LawnGuru Support immediately.

Releasing a route

If you are unable to service your AutoPlow route for a specific storm, you must notify us right away.

  • Reply "Release": If you cannot work the storm, reply "Release" to the Roll Call text. This allows us to reassign the route to another provider.

  • Release fees: Please note that standard release fees may apply. Notifying LawnGuru as early as possible helps minimize these fees and ensures customers aren't left without service.

Important details

  • Timing: Roll Call typically occurs when accumulation begins or 12–24 hours before a major storm.

  • Responsibility: Failure to confirm your route during Roll Call may result in the route being reassigned to another provider to ensure service coverage.

Below is an example of the notification you will receive. Please note that the predicted start time and storm details will vary based on your local weather forecast.
