AutoPlow provider expectations and responsibilities
AutoPlow providers are expected to commit to servicing their customers every time it snows. This commitment ensures homeowners receive reliable service and provides you with a steady, predictable route. If you cannot commit to being available for every storm, we recommend accepting one-time (1x) orders instead of recurring AutoPlow jobs.
Key responsibilities
To maintain your route and keep your account in good standing, you must adhere to the following standards:
Route confirmation: At the start of each storm, you must confirm your route to ensure the jobs remain on your board. Confirmation is sent via text. Failing to confirm your route may result in those jobs being released to other providers and may incur release fees for each affected customer.
Timeliness: You are expected to begin your route as soon as the storm ends and make consistent progress. While there is a 6-hour window to complete AutoPlow services, you should not wait until the last minute to begin. Failing to start your route promptly after a storm ends may result in your jobs being released.
Quality of work: All service ares must be thoroughly cleared of loose snow. If de-icing is included in the order, an adequate amount of salt must be applied to all cleared surfaces.
Performance and account health
High-quality service is essential for maintaining your AutoPlow route. Rushed work, missed areas, or incomplete services will result in:
Customer refunds
Negative marks on your provider account
Potential removal from the AutoPlow program
