How do I claim jobs?

LawnGuru makes it easy to grow your business by adding recurring and on-demand jobs to your route instantly. Use the following steps to claim available lawn and snow services in your area.

How to claim lawn and snow services

  1. Find a service in either the Map or List view. Tap on a service to see the property details and payout.

  2. If the location and price work for you, tap Claim Job.

  3. You will be prompted to select a service day.

    • Lawn Services: Offer more flexibility; you can typically choose a day that best fits your existing route.

    • Snow Services: Must be completed on the same day within the specific time windows provided.

  4. Greet the customer: Send an introductory message to the customer. While a greeting is auto-generated for convenience, we encourage you to personalize it.

    ⚠️ Important: Do not share personal contact information (phone numbers, email, or social media) in your messages. All communication must stay within the LawnGuru app.

Handling "Premium" scheduled days

Some customers pay a premium to select a specific service day. In these cases, you will not have the option to choose the service day. By claiming these jobs, you commit to servicing the property on the specific day shown.

Provider reliability and release fees

To maintain a high-quality experience for customers, please manage your board actively:

  • Late Services: Always inform the customer via the app if you are experiencing a delay.

  • Job Releases: If you cannot complete a job you've claimed, you must release it immediately so another provider can take it.

  • Fees: Failing to release a job by its due date or leaving an overdue job on your board without communication may result in a release fee.
